Although he responds well to direct suggestion, he responds especially well to metaphorical and symbolic patter. He graciously agreed to be filmed, so we could study his responses. GENERAL INFORMATION The video begins with the client in a highly suggestible state. “The Zone” induction you see in this video was created by me on the spur of the moment. It was neither done from a script nor by rote. It was improvised based on the information given to me by the client whose eyes remain open for most of the induction. The words “zone” and “zoned” are not pre-conditioned suggestions. Although conversational inductions can be done far more subtly than this, for demonstrational purposes, I chose to use embedded suggestions that can be easily noticed by viewers; so Gabriel’s reactions can be easily compared to the implied suggestions.
