I have some question.. In 4:21 (I read the info) the time when you do a shock induction, you grab him by his neck.. Does he with the smile reaction do a little struggle to not go back in to sleep and you by forcing him to fall dawn get him to that situation (indicating to fall a sleep).. Or you are jest holding him..
P.S.I don’t know much about hypnosis, but I got interested in it ..

NPClarky, I would have to osberve what you are doing in order to determine what advice to give you.. The issues you’re facing could be caused by one thing many different things including (but not limited to) lack of confidence, improper pacing, poor execution of technique, reinforcing or instilling fear of being hypnotized, creating an expectation of the hypnosis not working, etcetera.

Thank you.
Due to rapport issues, hypnotising close friends and family is not recommended. It is better to work with acquaintances, casual friends and strangers (under safe circumstances).
The strong rapport between close friends and family can yeild unpredictable results. For example, an improper suggestion could create unsuspected issues ranging from deeply breaking rapport on a subconscious level, to other issues.

How can you convience people to let you try to hypnotise them? I think it would be easier to deal with strangers rather than family or well know friends. There is still a lot of fear of hypnosis, people don’t think you can but won’t take a chance letting you try.
You are great at this……………..

Thanks for responding so promptly I’m going to study as hard as I can! The face that any sort of purely visual hypnosis exists is amazing.

I’m glad my video has sparked your interest! Yes, there are inductions that use eye fixation to help guide a person into the state of hypnosis. So, yes, eye to eye contact, if done properly can be used as an induction. However, using eye fixation alone is one of the weaker types of inducitons. If you were to combine the eye fixation with appropriate patter (a series of verbal suggestions), you could establish a deeper state of hypnosis in your client more rapidly than without patter.
